PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AND PPP

Veolia (CZ): legal advisory services to Veolia Group on negotiating and signing contractual documents with the City of Pilsen in connection with the subsidy to be drawn by the City based on the Environment Operational Program for the water industry. The transaction includes the sale of shares in Vodárny Plzeň held by Veolia Group to the City of Pilsen in 2015. The expected transaction value is approximately CZK 700 million.

BOUYGUES Travaux Publics SA and DTP Terrassement SA (SK) : comprehensive legal services to the French construction companies BOUYGUES Travaux Publics SA and DTP Terrassement SA in legal matters related to the construction of section 4 of the D1 highway in Slovakia implemented as part of the so-called "first package" of highway PPP projects.

Sanef (SK): comprehensive advisory services to a French group during its successful participation in a tender concerning the introduction of a toll system imposing a fee on trucks in Slovakia (DFBOT project) announced by the National Highway Company (Narodná dialnicna spolocnost) and won by a consortium which SanToll, the Slovak subsidiary of Sanef, is a member of (the contract’s value is €852 million and is granted for 13 years).

Skanska (CZ): selected as consultants in a tender for legal services on public procurement in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for Skanska, a leading international project development and construction company involved in highways and other infrastructure projects’ construction and listed in Fortune 500, plus providing legal services in connection with implementing construction projects.

Veolia Voda Česká republika a.s. (CZ): legal consultancy to Veolia Voda Česká republika a.s. (a member of Veolia Group) in connection with public contracts concerning the operation and maintenance of public water supply and sewerage networks, including legal analyses of state support and European funding.

Johnson & Johnson (CZ): representing Johnson & Johnson, the world's largest producer of healthcare products, in the public procurement proceedings, including filling a complaint against the decision of choosing the best offer and an initiation to the UOHS (Office for the Protection of Competition) for the review of proceedings.

Thomson Reuters (CZ): advisory services to the Thomson Reuters news agency in connection with its participation in a tender on database services for the Administration of State Material Reserves, including lodging an objection against a breach of law.

TTC Marconi (CZ): legal advisory services to TTC Marconi, a supplier of telecommunications and information technologies, in proceedings concerning objections against the company’s exclusion from a tender on procurement of telecommunications technologies for the Ministry of Finance.

Arwen s.r.o. (CZ): legal advisory services to Arwen s.r.o. in connection with a public contract concerning construction and renovation works in Klementinum for the City of Prague, namely project management of technical preparation, construction renovation, and the completion of the Klementinum premises, designated “Revitalisation of Klementinum”.

Eiffage Construction Česká republika s.r.o. (CZ): legal consultancy to Eiffage Construction Česká republika, s.r.o. in connection with preparing a concession procedure on the construction of parking lots in north Moravia.

Kasten spol. s r.o. (CZ): representing Kasten, a Czech construction company carrying out revitalization and insulation of residential buildings, in the public procurement proceedings, particularly successful submission of objections to the decision on exclusion from the proceedings.

Alcatel-Lucent (SK): legal consulting services and assessment of framework agreements concerning the potential further participation in a tender for a major company in Slovakia. PETERKA & PARTNERS also advised on public procurement issues.

Viamont DSP (SK): legal advisory services to a Czech construction company specialising in line construction, in connection with participation in a public tender and particularly on the questions of third party promises and registration in the list of entrepreneurs to avoid having to constantly prove fulfillment of certain conditions.

DO & CO Restaurants & Catering AG (CZ): advisory services to DO & CO Restaurants & Catering A.G., an Austrian catering company, in connection with its participation in the tender for the sale of Air Czech Catering a.s. (originally ČSA Catering, the caterer for Czech Airlines.

Veolia Water (CZ): advisory services on public procurement and PPP matters in connection with participation in a PPP project in the Czech Republic.

Renault (CZ): complex legal services to a world leading manufacturer of automobiles in connection with the participation of the company in tenders on public procurement services.

Veolia Voda S.A. (UA): comprehensive advisory services to Veolia Voda S.A., a world leader in the provision of services in producing and distributing drinking water and drainage and sewage treatment, on restructuring its corporate structure in Ukraine and participating in public tenders for concessions on the provision of water supply and sewage services.
